CAF launches race for new substantive Secretary-General role amid acting post uncertainty
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has started the search for a substantive Secretary-General role.
The Confederation of African Football has launched a search for a substantive Secretary-General role, following the appointment of Nigerian football administrator Samson Adamu as Acting Secretary-General less than four months ago. The move aims to fill the long-standing vacancy left by Issa Hayatou's resignation. A new candidate is expected to take over soon, with the CAF working closely with regional associations and other stakeholders to identify a suitable replacement.
