Edo Schools Trained on Identifying and Reporting Gender-Based Violence Cases

Schools in Edo State have been sensitised as part of the 2024 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, aiming to identify and report cases of sexual and gender-based violence.
In a bid to combat gender-based violence, schools across Edo State have received sensitisation on identifying and reporting cases of sexual and gender-based violence as part of the 2024 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. This initiative aims to empower students, teachers, and school administrators to recognize signs of abuse and respond accordingly. As part of this effort, educational institutions are being equipped with tools and resources to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. The move is part of a broader campaign to raise awareness and promote change in the fight against gender-based violence.
