Chairman of Egor local government area Eghe Ogbemudia has denied his purported impeachment and that of Deputy Chairman Franco Osawe by the council councillors. In a statement released on Friday, Ogbemudia maintained he was unaware of the alleged impeachment proceedings. The councillors had moved to impeach both Ogbemudia and Osawe over unspecified grievances.
