FG Unveils Plan to Slash Interstate Transport Fares by Half Today

The Federal Government has rolled out 708 vehicles across various states today, with the proposed 50 per cent reduction in interstate transport fares taking effect immediately. The fare slash is aimed at making transportation more affordable for citizens and will apply to routes between Lagos, Abuja, Owerri, and Port Harcourt, as well as Kaduna, among others. The rollout of new vehicles is part of efforts to improve the country's public transportation system.
