George Ilenikhena is poised to switch allegiances and commit to playing for Nigeria's national team after holding talks with Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle.
Al-Ittihad striker George Ilenikhena is reportedly committing his international future to Nigeria after holding talks with Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle, as he seeks to switch allegiances from England. The decision comes after Ilenikhena had been linked with a potential switch to the Nigerian national team in recent months. If confirmed, it would mark a significant move for Ilenikhena, who has been an integral part of Al-Ittihad's attack this season. A formal announcement is expected soon, pending any outstanding paperwork.
