The Port Harcourt refinery, Nigeria's largest oil refinery, has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining current petrol prices despite growing concerns over fuel scarcity. According to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN), the refinery is currently operating at full capacity of 60,000 barrels per day. The union asserts that the refinery is functioning normally and is not planning to reduce petrol prices in response to market pressures or external factors.
