Suspected Drug Lord Gets N100m Bail in Lagos Court Ruling

A Federal High Court in Lagos has granted N100m bail to Sulaimon Jimoh Olowoidiogede, a suspected drug lord accused of importing 704 kilogrammes of the illicit substance Ghana Loud from Ghana. The court's decision comes as Olowoidiogede remains in custody on charges related to his alleged involvement in the importation and distribution of the contraband. Authorities have been investigating Olowoidiogede since February, when he was first apprehended by law enforcement officials. If released on bail, Olowoidiogede will be required to provide a N100m surety bond as part of his conditional release.
