Chanu Claims Historic Asian Games Medal as Ri Sets Weightlifting Records Abroad

North Korean weightlifter Ri Song Gum has broken three world records en route to winning gold in the women's 49kg competition at the Asian Games. India's Mirabai Chanu won a long-awaited silver medal in the same event, her first Asian Games medal. The competition also saw Chanu break her own national record with a lift of 87kg.
