Democrats privately condemn Hasan Piker but fear public backlash against fellow lawmakers

Democrat Rep. Josh Gottheimer claims some members of his party are applying a 'double standard' on antisemitism, criticizing private criticism of Hasan Piker due to fear of public backlash. Piker, a popular Twitch streamer and Democrat, has been accused by some of promoting antisemitic views. Despite this, Gottheimer says his fellow Democrats are hesitant to publicly criticize him for fear of being labeled 'anti-Israel' or 'antisemitic'.
