DeSantis Fires Back at Jeffries, Offers $20M to Move Party HQ to Florida

House Democratic Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries has fired back at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after being invited to a series of high-stakes congressional redistricting hearings in the Sunshine State. In response, Jeffries issued a $20 million warning shot against any potential campaign financing from DeSantis or his allies. The verbal sparring between the two leaders is part of a larger battle over congressional redistricting that has drawn national attention. The stakes are high as the outcome could determine control of the US House of Representatives in 2024.
