Dolan Snubs NYC Mayor at Knicks Championship Celebration Amid Ongoing Feud Over Team Watch Parties
New York Knicks owner James Dolan appeared to take a jab at Zohran Mamdani during an NBA championship celebration by refusing to take a photo together, amid a previous public spat between the two over team watch parties. The move was seen as a snub to NYC Mayor Mamdani.
New York Knicks owner James Dolan seemed to take a jab at NYC Mayor Eric Adams' (not Zohran Mamdani) predecessor during an NBA championship celebration, skipping a photo opportunity with him. The tension between Dolan and former Mayor Adams arose last week over team watch parties. At City Hall, the two met for the final time on the team's championship run. No clear statement or explanation was given from Dolan regarding his decision to avoid the photo op.
