Elon Musk Sells Social Media Company X to AI Firm xAI for $45 Billion

Elon Musk announced on Friday evening that he has sold his social media company, X, to xAI, his artificial intelligence company, in a deal worth $45 billion. The sale price is slightly more than what Musk paid for X in 2022. As part of the agreement, xAI will acquire X's entire assets and operations. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed further.
