Former Mayor Found Liable for Alleged Sexual Assaults, Ordered to Pay $13M

A former Democratic mayor in Northern California has been found civilly liable for allegedly sexual assaulting seven women and ordered to pay $13M. Dominic Foppoli led the town of Windsor from 2006 until his resignation in 2017. The verdict was reached after a jury trial, and the court ordered him to compensate the victims financially.
