The former commander of the USS Cole recalled making a chilling prediction to the CIA just 20 minutes before the first plane hit the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The prediction was made while discussing bin Laden's plans with CIA officials and had not been shared publicly until now. No further details were provided in the report about what the commander said. The USS Cole attack itself occurred on October 12, 2000, making this statement a remarkable coincidence nearly a year after the event.
