GOP Proposes Blocking Federal Funds to NYC During Socialist Mayor's Tenure

A House GOP lawmaker has proposed a bill to block federal funds from New York City for as long as Zohran Mamdani, a socialist, serves as mayor, under legislation led by Rep. Buddy Carter of Georgia called the MAMDANI Act. The proposed measure aims to penalize NYC for supporting Mamdani's candidacy.
