Jury Convicts Man in Roadside Ambush Murder of Microsoft Executive Jared Bridegan

A Florida jury has convicted Mario Fernandez Saldana of murder in the 2022 ambush killing of Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan. The defendant was found guilty after a roadside ambush in which Bridegan was fatally shot. Saldana is also married to the victim and had previously been arrested for DUI in connection with the same incident. He will face life imprisonment without parole as a result of his conviction.
