Keiko Fujimori Declared Winner of Peru's Presidential Runoff Election

Keiko Fujimori, a conservative politician and daughter of former president Alberto Fujimori, was declared the winner of Peru's presidential runoff election. She will take office later this month after beating her opponent in the election. Fujimori, 51, is expected to become the country's first female head of state.
