Kyrie Irving has pledged to pay an NFL fine for American football player Azeez Al-Shaair, who was penalised for wearing a jersey bearing the name of Hind Rajab, a Palestinian girl killed by Israeli forces in 2000, during a game in Washington D.C.. The incident sparked controversy and led to Al-Shaair being fined. Irving has stepped forward to cover the fine, which is reportedly around $120,000.
