Maxwell's Lawyers Pitch for Presidential Pardon in Congress Testimony Letter
Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers sent a letter to U.S. House Oversight Chairman James Comer asking for consideration of a pardon in exchange for her testimony about Jeffrey Epstein and other related matters. The letter doubles as an unofficial application for President Donald Trump's consideration.

Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers have sent a letter to US House Oversight Chairman James Comer, pitching for her pardon and making an unofficial application to President Donald Trump in exchange for her testimony against convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of abusing dozens of underage girls, including Maxwell herself. The letter comes as Maxwell is set to testify before the House Oversight Committee on Capitol Hill about her alleged involvement with Epstein's sex trafficking ring. Under the deal, prosecutors would reportedly drop all remaining charges against Maxwell in exchange for her cooperation and testimony. If granted a pardon by Trump, it would be his fourth presidential pardon since taking office in 2021.
