Moon Glass Cities: NASA and Company Partner for Futuristic Lunar Habitats
NASA and California-based company Skyeports are collaborating on exploring the possibility of living in giant moon glass spheres, which could potentially transform the Moon's surface into a network of glowing cities.
NASA is collaborating with Skyeports, a California-based company, to study the feasibility of living in giant moon glass spheres that could become glowing cities on the Moon's surface. The project aims to create sustainable habitats for humans, potentially paving the way for future lunar settlements. Researchers will use advanced materials and technologies to design and construct these spherical dwellings, which would be illuminated by Earthlight. The ultimate goal is to establish a human presence on the Moon that can support long-term scientific research and exploration.
