Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., told NBC News host Kristen Welker that he saw nothing to suggest Biden couldn't serve through 2029, after being pressed on his defense of the former president's ability to complete a second term. Newsom defended Biden, saying he didn't see anything in the law or the Constitution that would prevent him from serving until 2029. The governor's comments came as some have questioned whether Biden is eligible for re-election due to the fact he would be 82 years old by then.
