Sawe Withdraws from Berlin Marathon After Sudden Injury Cancellation

Kenya's world record holder Sebastian Sawe has withdrawn from the Berlin Marathon due to an injury, ending his bid to break the mythical two-hour barrier in marathons. The 2020 Olympic Games bronze medalist had set a new world record of 2:01:09 at the Great North Run earlier this year. However, after completing just one event, Sawe has now pulled out of the Berlin Marathon.
