Seven Climbers, Including Nepal's Tenzing 'Nims' Purja, Buried in Pakistan Avalanche Recovered

Rescue teams in Pakistan have recovered the bodies of seven climbers, including the celebrated Nepali-British mountaineer Nirmal Purja, from Broad Peak after a massive avalanche buried a ten-member international climbing team in the region. The tragedy occurred on Mount Broad Peak, the 12th highest mountain in the world. Seven other climbers were also recovered, bringing an end to the search efforts. The recovery of the bodies is a poignant conclusion to the rescue operation.
