State Attorneys General Reach Settlement in Paramount's Acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery

State attorneys general have agreed to settle a lawsuit against Paramount's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN's parent company, which is moving the companies closer to completing the merger. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed. A previously announced deadline for the deal was extended by 45 days to give regulators time to review the arrangement. The merger would create one of the largest media conglomerates in the world.
