A 21-foot steel beam recovered from the South Tower of the World Trade Center is set to embark on a cross-country journey as part of the Tunnel to Towers Foundations Steel Across America tour. The beam will make its way up the East Coast before arriving at Ground Zero in New York City ahead of the 9/11 anniversary. The tour aims to raise awareness and support for fallen heroes and their families, while also promoting community service projects nationwide. Along the route, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the steel beam and meet with Tunnel to Towers Foundation staff.
