James Talarico has won the Texas Democratic primary in a shocking upset that some attribute to his recent interview controversy on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The debate over whether the appearance was an 'election stunt' will continue.
James Talarico has been accused of staging a 'stunt' to boost his campaign in the Texas Democratic primary after he sparked controversy during a late-night interview on CBS host Stephen Colbert's show. Critics argue that Talarico's appearance was an attempt to gain publicity and sway undecided voters. The move may have paid off, as Talarico appears to be ahead of opponent Mike Crockett in the polls. Talarico's campaign has yet to comment on the allegations surrounding his appearance on Colbert's show.
