Suspected Child Sex Predator Arrested as 'Santa Claus' in Florida Sting Operation

A Polk County, Florida man who poses as Santa Claus has been arrested in an undercover sting operation targeting child sex predators. Thomas Allen Hicks, 68, was one of 19 suspects arrested after deputies said he tried to meet up with and have sex with an underage girl. The sting targeted individuals who pose as authority figures or characters to groom children for sexual exploitation. Hicks is now behind bars facing charges related to the offense.
