Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue, alleging that they have made 'fraudulent and foreign donations' to Democratic candidates by misleading donors about safeguards in place to block such transactions. The AG claims that ActBlue has failed to adequately disclose the role of foreign nationals in donating to their platform. As a result, Paxton is seeking injunctive relief and damages from ActBlue for allegedly violating state laws. The lawsuit also accuses ActBlue of facilitating 'the flow of tainted money' into Democratic campaigns.
