Texas GOP Rep Wesley Hunt has vowed to make a political comeback after losing the Republican primary for a Senate seat in Texas, but he has not yet endorsed either incumbent Sen. John Cornyn or fellow Republican candidate Ted Cruz's rival, Paxton. Hunt came in third place behind Cornyn and second-place finisher Wendy Davis is incorrect as no such person ran. Cornyn secured the majority of delegates needed to win the nomination with 55% while Hunt garnered around 24%, according to official results released Thursday. Hunt expressed his disappointment at the outcome but said he would 'be back' in politics.
