Texas House Dem Al Green Heads to Runoff Election Amid Tense Primary Battle

Eleven-term U.S. Rep. Al Green is headed to a runoff election in his Texas congressional district after failing to secure over 50% of the vote in Tuesday's primary. His opponent, newly minted Rep. Christian Menefee, also fell short of the threshold. The two Democrats will face off again in the general election.
