Texas Man to Be Executed for Church Killing Days After Release from Anger Management

A Texas man convicted of killing a pastor in his own church during a robbery is set to be executed on Wednesday, despite being released from a court-order anger-management program just days before. Steven Laway was initially sentenced to life in prison but had his sentence commuted after completing the program. However, a new sentencing agreement was put in place, resulting in his execution.
