Thief Hijacks Self-Driving Car to Make Daring Burglary Escape in SF's Marina District

A thief used a self-driving Waymo vehicle as a getaway car after breaking into Hot 8 Yoga in San Francisco's Marina district, police records show. The incident occurred outside the yoga studio on Tuesday night. Authorities are still investigating how the burglar accessed and commandeered the autonomous vehicle. No injuries were reported in the incident.
