Trump admin scrambles to fly back Guatemalan migrant mistakenly deported from US territory

The Trump administration told a federal judge on Wednesday it is working to charter a plane to return to the U.S. an immigrant from Guatemala who was deported in March without due process and despite having a valid court order protecting him from deportation, according to sources familiar with the matter. The plan involves flying the man back to the US on a private jet at taxpayers' expense. He had been ordered by a federal judge not to be deported until a full hearing took place.
