Trump Admin Stands Firm on Jerusalem, Rejects UN Resolution Calling for Ceasefire with Hamas

The Trump administration has rejected a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, standing by its support for Jerusalem as its capital. The US vote was in line with that of Russia and China, who also opposed the measure. France and the UK, however, supported the resolution backed by many other countries, amid escalating violence in Gaza.
