Trump Administration Faces Deadline To Unfreeze Billions in NY Tunnel Project Funding

A US judge has given the Trump administration an extension until Thursday to unfreeze billions of dollars in funding for a New York tunnel project, which is now set to be awarded to a private company unless further action is taken by the court. The original deadline was this past weekend. A federal appeals court had previously allowed the government to delay the release of the funds. More than $16 billion was earmarked for the project.
