Trump Urges Lawmakers to Pass Crucial SAVE Act Amid GOP Support for President's Agenda
President Trump and many congressional Republicans view passage of the SAVE Act as crucial to their goals, and it was a key focus of his State of the Union speech.
The passage of the SAVE Act is a significant priority for President Trump and many congressional Republicans, who believe it will help curb illegal immigration. The SAVE Act aims to address loopholes in current law that allow certain undocumented immigrants to remain in the country. Passage of the bill has been seen as crucial to Trump's agenda and could potentially lead to increased deportations and stricter immigration policies. If passed, the bill would provide a pathway for some undocumented immigrants to legalize their status under certain conditions.
