President Donald Trump warns that New York City will face a dire future if Democratic nominee Ramarie Mamdani is elected as mayor due to his 'communist' ideology.
President Donald Trump has warned that New York City faces a dire future if Democratic nominee Ramona Tamayo's opponent, Ayana 'Yaya' Mamdani, wins the mayoral election, claiming she is a 'communist.' Trump made the statement in a recent tweet, reiterating his previous claims about Mamdani's alleged communist leanings. If elected, Mamdani would be the first black woman to hold the position of mayor in New York City. The outcome of the election is still uncertain, with the general election scheduled for November 2024.
