Trump's Endorsement Magic Spreads as Evette Advances to South Carolina GOP Runoff
President Trump's endorsement has helped boost South Carolina Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette to a runoff in the GOP gubernatorial primary election.
President Donald Trump has rekindled his endorsement winning streak as he backed South Carolina Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette in a Republican primary, helping her advance to a runoff election against Democratic opponent Tom Ervin. This marks Trump's fifth successful endorsement since the start of the year, bolstering his reputation as a key influencer in GOP primaries. Evette's victory cements Trump's streak of backing winners, despite a previous setback when he endorsed John Gibbs in the Arizona primary. The Republican Party is closely watching this election to gauge Trump's influence on their party's prospects.
