US F-15E Fighters Shot Down in Friendly Fire Incident Over Kuwait Region

Three US warplanes, F-15E Strike Eagles, were shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses in a friendly fire incident while engaged in active combat operations over Kuwait as part of Operation Epic Fury, resulting in the ejection of all three pilots who safely parachuted to the ground. The incident is currently under investigation.
