Virginia Governor-elect Puts Former Texas Rep. Strategist at Helm of State's Diversity Office

Virginia's soon-to-be Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger has appointed the former chief brand strategist for Rep. Jasmine Crockett as the state's top diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) official. The appointment comes as part of an effort to promote diversity within the governor's office. Crockett's team worked closely with her on branding efforts during her 2020 campaign.
