How this straw poll works
- It is not a scientific poll. Anyone with a verified account can take part, so the people voting choose themselves. Read it as a pulse, not a forecast.
- One ballot per verified account. You can change it until polls open on January 16, 2027, when it closes for good.
- Results are sealed until you vote, so running totals don't steer your choice.
- Your choice is private. We publish only totals and percentages, never who voted for whom.
- The ballot follows INEC's final list of presidential candidates published October 31, 2026, in ballot order. Source: inecnigeria.org.
About the portraits
Each portrait starts from a freely licensed photograph of the candidate and is set against the same Abuja dusk scene, so no candidate gets a better photo than another. Some backgrounds were swapped with AI image editing; the face and clothing are always the candidate's own. Candidates without a freely licensed photo show party colours instead.
